Mapping Application was founded in March 2010 by Patrick Rickles for the purpose of contracting to various businesses in the GIS Industry. Through custom developed systems and tools, Mapping Application's goal is to improve workflows and optimise efficiency - creating a visible business impact.
Mapping Application has experience in multiple fields of GIS interest, allowing it to tailor general principles to meet industry specific needs. Such fields include: Oil and Gas Exploration, Software Engineering, Defense Contracting, Urban Development, and Environmental Planning. Drawing on this breadth of experience, the client's development environment can be quickly adapted to and the ideal solution can be produced that meets their needs.
